Orange Sherbert was painted on site, plein air during a gorgeous spell of Indian summer Autumn days measuring 70 degrees in November. It was pure joy to be outside painting in the beautiful weather, enjoying every passing second, knowing how rare it is for this time of year to have the warm sun smiling across my face.

The title was inspired by the luscious Fall leaves, sparkling with color. With an abundance of orange I was reminded of one of my favorite flavors, Orange Sherbet.
