    Painter, Rebecca Grantham is a wife and mother who has a passion for landscape painting plein air, on site, all year through.

Working in oils outside as time passes she transforms everyday moments into unique works of art that capture the essence of the beauty around us.

Rebecca Grantham's artwork immerses you in nature, up close the viewer is a part of the painted moment that is a culmination of time and subtle changes.

Her paintings carry nature's daily patterns and rhythms of color, light and atmosphere onto the canvas greeting you with a living work of art.

    "Painting outside directly from nature enables me to carry the life of the moments as they are happening through my senses and onto the canvas.

You could describe me as a hopeless romantic and incurable optimist! I love fishing, music, reading, journaling, hiking, observing nature, and playing with our kids. I have my Dad's humor and my Mom's adventurious spirit.

    I love the simple joys of life and know that this contributes to how I perceive nature around me and in what moments I choose to paint. I'm confident you could plunk me down anywhere in nature and I could find a beautiful moment to paint. It needent be grandiose or postcard perfect, it's the simple moments that bring joy to our everyday lives.


You'll find yourself immersed in nature when you view my work, it's often upclose with little foreground, surrounding you with the complete atmosphere and emotions of the moment in rich, colorful beauty.
